Seven Piano Improvisations

Beautiful and melodious piano compositions providing a calm and loving ambience. This inspired melodies reflect the happiness, peace and love from our hearts.

Melodies from the Heart is an album of 55 minutes piano music. It contains my compositions Song of the Rainbow, Under the Stars, Autumn Leaves, Tranquility, May Love Touch You, At Fairy Lake, Water Lily, Song of the Fairies, Reflection, At the Beaver River, Soft Insides, For You.

This music is based on a drone, just like traditional music from India. A drone is a bass tone that is sustained throughout the entire piece.  I choose the tone “G”.  Various cultures consider “G” the tone of Mother Earth. The music of “Melodies on the Earth Tone G” combines the elements of the classical Western music with Indian and Chinese scales. In this I created a new meditative music. The listener tunes into the harmonies that are built on the tone G. This collection of piano music include “Sunrise Meditation”,  “Sunset Mediation” and the video “Healing Piano Music”.

A gentle meditative piano music that leads to inner stillness. While being in deep meditations, I heard inside myself some of the melodies of these piano compositions.  The melodies and harmonies, combined with a tempo corresponding to a slow heart beat, support the body to relax, and mind and soul to find inner peace.

These videos show Martin improvising his piano meditations “Moments of Peace” , “Quiet Lake” and “Song of the Little Creek” – recorded in November 2021.
